From the 2023/24 season, veteran commentator Peter Drury will be on Sky Sports to cover Premier League football. Drury has over 30 years of broadcasting and radio expertise. He will join an entourage of Sky Sports commentators that includes Rob Hawthorne and Bill Leslie. He would take over for Martin Tyler at Sky Sports.
Drury has received numerous broadcasting honors, including Football Supporters’ Association Commentator of the Year in three of the last four seasons. In addition, he was named Sports Journalists’ Association Sports Commentator of the Year in 2020. As a result, it is easy to claim that Drury is among the finest in his field.
Drury is excited to join the team at Sky. He was quoted saying, “I’m massively excited to be joining Sky’s outstanding roster of commentators. To be working on the best games week in week out with a broadcaster that has told the Premier League story since the very beginning feels like the opportunity of my career and I can’t wait to get started.”
However, the commentator won’t actually be giving up his job at NBC as both NBC and Sky Sports are owned by the same company. Both firms are subsidiaries of Comcast. The commentator will be covering one game per week. He will either be heard on a Sunday, a Saturday, or any midweek match.

Dejan Kulusevski to stay at Tottenham permanently
Tottenham Hotspurs have finalized the permanent acquisition of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus. The Swedish winger initially joined Spurs on an 18-month loan with an option to buy for £29.2 million in January 2022. The 23-year-old has now agreed to a five-year contract with the Premier League club, allegedly for a cost of £25 million.
Kulusevski scored seven goals in 57 games on loan for Spurs, helping them qualify for the Champions League in 2021-22. He has two goals in 29 games for Sweden. He received the Guldbollen award for the best Swedish male player of the year in December last year.
The Swedish winger was one of the brightest young wingers at Juventus. He was bought by them for a fee of £30m in January 2020, from Atlanta. Kulusevski is reportedly a big component in the plans of Ange Postecoglu for the next season.
