Piers Morgan blames Eric Ten Hag for his behaviour towards Ronaldo
Renowned English journalist Piers Morgan, on Monday, took another dig at Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag. The 58-year-old journalist posted the reply of the Dutch coach after he dropped Cristiano Ronaldo. The Dutch tactician said slept ‘well in nights’ after dropping the Portuguese forward. Piers Morgan took to the occasion of Manchester United’s defeat against West Ham. The English broadcaster mocked by asking ‘how’s that sleep going, Erik?’
Manchester United lost 1-0 to West Ham United. The Reds saw their second consecutive defeat in the Premier League. The only goal came from Said Benrahma after he took a short from 20 yards, deflecting into the goal with a messy effort from De Gea. Piers Morgan took to Social Media to troll Erik Ten Hag immediately after the match.
This is not the first time when Piers Morgan has trolled the United boss. The player has also been seen mocking the Dutch tactician after the Reds lost to Europa League. The Reds saw a defeat against Sevilla departing off the Europa League. The commentator called the tactician a ‘clown’ for the loss.
The bitter relationship between Erik Ten Hag and Piers Morgan started to evolve back in 2022. Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with the 58-year-old was a catalyst in the same. The commentator has slammed Erik Ten Hag for dropping the 38-year-old. The relationship got bitter ever since.

Piers Morgan has left no such instances of mocking Erik Ten Hag. The Dutch tactician’s decision to remove Cristiano Ronaldo from the squad came with a price of brutal mocks for the Dutch Tactician.
The English journalist demands an apology with folded hands from the Dutch tactician. The apology would be for his disrespect towards the 38-year-old footballer. ‘ I expect Ten Hag to get down on bended knees and apologize to me for the disrespect he’s shown towards Cristiano Ronaldo.’
Things got more between the journalist and the tactician after the United boss termed Cristiano Ronaldo as ‘past’ and ‘gone’. The Dutch tactician called him an ‘arrogant’ identity and called ‘Wout Weghorst’ a ‘sausage’
The relationship between the trio doesn’t seem to improve in the coming future. Cristiano Ronaldo has already said he has no respect for his former boss, as the Dutch tactician ‘doesn’t show’ him respect. The apology from Erik Ten Hag doesn’t seem to come. So it might happen Piers Morgan may continue with his banter comments and troll towards the United boss.
