Erling Haaland was jumped over by an ecstatic Manchester City fan who ran onto the pitch to celebrate his goal. Haaland had earlier missed a penalty, with the ball hitting the post. He had been comparatively slow to regain his ‘robotic‘ form as he just put the ball past the keeper in the first half. However, the Premier League golden-boot winner converted the ball played to him by Jack Grealish.

City didn’t look like their old self today as they held the ball but struggled to create much. Hence, it was very comforting for the Norweigan to convert the chance created by his mate finally. In a stunning turn of events for The Treble Winners, Sheffield United went on to score again in the game.

However, Manchester City, proved once again why they have etched their names in European and English history. They went on to recover from the equaliser just 3 minutes in the second half after the goal proving their worth as Champions.

Pitch Invasion in Sheffield however, is another issue. The fan was obviously in good spirits sharing a jubilant moment with the player, but many fans on social media voiced their concerns about security failure. If the man possessed a deadly weapon, then Premier League officials would have been in scrutiny which they already might be. City continued their run as the only unbeaten team in the Premier League with their thrilling game at Sheffield.
