Aston Villa saw off Everton in ecstatic fashion as the Villans netted 4 times without reply on Sunday’s clash at Villa Park. John McGinn, Douglas Luiz, Leon Bailey, and Jhon Duran scored as the Villans demolished Everton. While their performance gives hope for a good season ahead after a beating on the opening day against Newcastle United, the Toffees look concerned. Their lack of prowess in front of goal and recent injuries to strikers Calvert-Lewin and Alex Iwobi does not make things better.

It was worrying to see how bad Everton were at some of the basics in their 4-0 defeat on Sunday. Everton sit at rock bottom of the Premier League and remain the only team to not find the net after playing 2 games. Manager, Sean Dyche is already under pressure as he needs to find a way and be quick to get his team up and running. Recent injuries to starters Calvert-Lewin and Iwobi mean that Everton are in need of attacking reinforcements and that too, soon.
