American rapper and singer Post Malone has caught the attention of football fans worldwide. The 28-year-old is well known for his music but has gone viral on football Twitter after the artist was spotted wearing an Al-Hilal home jersey with Neymar‘s name at the back. The music sensation sported a #10 Al-Hilal jersey, with jorts and shoes. Videos of the concert show the artist in his element as he captivates his audience.

The rapper was performing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when fans noticed a familiar jersey on the artist. While most were enjoying the concert at Kingdom Arena, football fans were busy capturing pictures of the star wearing their favorite star’s jersey. Even though Post Malone has performed wearing a Brazil jersey in the past, there has been no public connection between the two celebrities.

Neymar Jr. joined Al-Hilal from PSG on a €90 million transfer, making him one of the most costly players in the league. He earns close to $1.7 million a week, with several extravagant clauses in his contract.

A private plane at his disposal, a 20-bedroom mansion, and full-time staff to cater to his needs are just a few of the perks Neymar enjoys. The player is currently out with a serious knee injury and will be sidelined for over 6-8 months.

The American rapper and singer performed for the Saudi crowd at Kingdom Arena on the 17th of November. Fans were buzzing at the sight of an Al-Hilal jersey, and more importantly, that of Neymar Jr.’s. Even though the player and artist have no connection, in particular, fans have started to guess the reason for his choice of shirt. A fan commented ‘Saudi money must hit’, pointing at the extravagant amount of money that goes into everything in Saudi.

Another reason for his choice of clothing may be the recent arrival of the Brazilian in Saudi. Being one of the most popular and highest-paid players in the league, fans were quick to notice Neymar’s shirt.
