The highly anticipated 2022-23 English Premier League matches were released on Thursday. After the November 12 game week, the season will take a hiatus for FIFA World Cup 2022 obligations in Qatar and return on Boxing Day (December 26). The EPL 2022-23 season will end in May, with the last matchday on May 28 (Sunday).

The EPL had already modified its game postponement guidelines, declaring that any game may henceforth be put off only in “really extraordinary” circumstances, removing the three-season COVID-imposed restrictions and regulations. During the COVID phase in the EPL 2021-22, 21 games had to be rescheduled.

This is how the Big 6 will start their Premier League season:

Manchester City F.C. winning the Premier League

Manchester City won the Premier League for the fourth time in five seasons in May, after a stunning 3-2 comeback win over Aston Villa on the last day. The champions will start their title defence against West Ham United away from home. Manchester City’s new number nine Erling Haaland will start his premier league career with an away game.

Jurgen Klopp‘s Liverpool will look to dethrone Man City from the EPL crown. The men from Merseyside will lock horns with newly promoted side Fulham. With the inclusion of Darwin Nunez, the Reds will look to start off the season in a strong manner.

Erik ten Hag has taken over coaching duties at Manchester United. The red Devils will start their season with a Home game versus Brighton and Hove Albion. ETH must start the season strongly, preferably with a win.

Thomas Tuchel will eye a top-four finish combating Manchester City and Liverpool. On August 5, Friday Arsenal will visit Crystal Palace for the season’s first game. Arteta’s men will be looking to return to the Champions League spots after missing out on this year’s UCL narrowly.

With Antonio Conte at Tottenham, the London side will start their campaign with a home game against Southampton. Tottenham will be looking to cement their position in the top four once again this season.
