An ‘unnamed’ Premier League star has been admitted to rehabilitation, after getting addicted to nitrogen oxide, more popularly known as ‘laughing gas’. Nitrous Oxide was made illegal last year, by the UK government.

The Premier League star is the first to be sent to a medical center for gas addiction. Despite its deadly consequences, some players are still seen ‘using’ it. Law enforcement has cracked down on its use after incidents at parties involving Prem players.

Recent reports by the Sun claim that the unnamed player was traveling in a car, while a police search found dozens of canisters in the vehicle. Concerned about the player’s addiction, the family sought assistance from the club. The player was advised to visit the residential rehab center, to safeguard his career. Now, he is currently undergoing rigorous detox and might be back very soon.
