According to reports by Fabrizio Romano, PSG is now working on appointing OGC Nice’s manager, Christopher Galtier to succeed Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine hasn’t enjoyed much success with Paris Saint-Germain with 1 league title, 2 domestic titles and ZERO Champions League trophies in 2 years.

Paris have already signed former Monaco and Lille director, Leonardo Araújo as their new sporting director. The Brazilian has been highly successful in France and will hope to bring that success to PSG as well. The 52-year old’s first step is to sack Mauricio Pochettino as PSG look to appoint a new manager.

Jose Mourinho rejects PSG, forcing the French club to look elsewhere

Jose Mourinho was apparently PSG’s first choice to take over the reins from Pichettino. However, the Portuguese rejected the opportunity to work with possible the best squad in the world to focus on his project at AS Roma.

Galtier has coached many Ligue 1 teams since 2007 and the 55-year-old will definitely be templed to work at PSG soon.
