PSG have excluded Kylian Mbappe from their Japan tour and put him on the transfer market. The Frenchman has been told he will be sold off this summer if he does not renew his contract with PSG. Al Hilal has contacted PSG for a €200 million offer for Mbappe.
Reports suggest that Al Hilal is set to land Mbappe after failing to sign Lionel Messi. The Saudi giants have offered a $400 million package to PSG. The package includes $200 million in transfer fees and $200 million in salary for Mbappe. They are moving quickly and want the French superstar.
PSG informed the superstar that 31st July is the deadline to decide. He can either agree on renewal with PSG or be prepared to be sold off to Al Hilal. However, power rests with Mbappe, who can refuse a transfer. The attacker wants to head off to Real Madrid.
Reports suggest Mbappe and Real Madrid have an agreement in principle. The attacker would join the Los Blancos in 2024 on a free transfer. However, Al Hilal yet remains in the race. They are prepared to have Mbappe for a year and aim to let him leave for Madrid the following year. There is no definitive answer to this Mbappe transfer saga yet.
Chelsea explores options in order to offer a shock move for Kylian Mbappe
The Parisian club also has offers from clubs for the forward. Chelsea emerge as a shock contender in the race for his signature. The Blues reportedly got a green light to negotiate with the Paris-based club.
Chelsea offers Mbappe a lucrative contract and a chance to partner with fellow countrymate Christopher Nkunku. However, the Blues do not have European football.
The team also may be priced out by the demands of the Parisian club.
The Blues could thus land themselves in FFP’s sights if they overspend this summer. Therefore, the transfer chances are minimal, yet Mauricio Pochettion’s team continues their attempts.
