PSG star trolls Barcelona during conversation with Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele, calls it a ‘sh*t team’

Videos of training have come out, where a PSG player making fun of Barcelona, calling them a “sh*t team.” Star players Kylian Mbappe and former Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele were engaged in playful conversation when the ex-Bayern player made a comment that made headlines. Mbappe asked Dembele, “You’re coming from Barça, why aren’t you singing?” To which Lucas Hernandez added, “How can that sh*t team teach you how to sing?”
After videos of the same surfaced on social media, netizens and especially, fans on Twitter have reacted furiously to the same. Many Barcelona fans have taken the comment made by the player to heart and reacted accordingly. However, there is an understanding that Lucas Hernandez grew up in Atletico Madrid‘s football academy and it is no secret that Barca and Atletico are fierce rivals.
While some understand the player’s comment to be banter, others have considered it as disrespect to the club. Lucas Hernandez made the move from Bayern to PSG in July for a reported €40 million. Hernandez starred in PSG’s latest match against Lens, which the Parisians won 3-1.
Mbappe turns down PSG’s latest contract offer
French superstar Kylian Mbappe has rejected PSG’s latest contract offer, according to reports. The Parisian striker was offered two options by Qatari management at the end of his one-year contract which ends in 2024. In order to ensure that Mbappe does not end up leaving the French capital for free, PSG have given Mbappe 2 options – either activate the contract extension which will keep him at the club till 2025, or sign a longer contract.
President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has made several attempts to convince the player to extend with PSG. The entire footballing world went into a frenzy when PSG offered Mbaple a monumental contract of €1 billion over 10 years, making him the highest-paid player on the planet. Mbappe declined which further spread rumours of an arrival to the Bernabeu. This, however, ended with the Frenchman deciding to stay put on a one-year contract with the defending champions.
Mbappe has rejected both options in the latest offer according to reports amidst the player’s strong interest to head to the Bernabeu. Mbappe scored twice as PSG defeated Lens 3-1 on Saturday’s clash, making it his 3rd goal in just 2 starts. PSG host Lyon next, who are currently 16th in the league.
