PSG tries to hijack Manchester City’s Bernando Silva from Barcelona with a €70m bid: Reports

PSG have made a €70m bid for Manchester City’s star midfielder Bernardo Silva, by snatching away the chances ahead of Barcelona who were initially in talks with the English club for getting Bernardo to their side in La Liga. However, PSG’s bid has shocked everyone and the deal could get cracked looting Barcelona out of their chance.
Bernardo Silva’s career at Manchester City, have been no less than a dream run, with Premier League wins to being tagged as “unbeatable”. A fantastic midfielder at the prime of his career just fell short of choices for decoding his future at the English side.
Barring the English side, the Portuguese rising star’s reasons for leaving the winning side, is still a mystery to everyone, though moving to PSG could be solely for reason of being more financially secure, else a move from a secured position in Premier League would be considered something out of passion of either affection towards the other club or aggression towards your own.

Barcelona’s approach for Bernardo Silva before PSG
Barcelona’s plunge into the Europa League for the first time in decades gave them shattering hopes and failing hardwork. The midfield of the Catalunyans was broke, having just Busquets in as their defensive midfielder was the last option for the team that too with ageing issues.
The signing of Frenkie De Jong from Ajax gave them hope, and nurturing young talents like Gavi and Pedri was there to manage things up which eventually resulted in favour for Barcelona.
The trade that Barcelona wanted was to get one of the best midfielders of this time to their side, having De Jong as a continuous chaos for either leaving or staying, it was difficult for Barcelona to manage without him. Bernardo on other side could be a great deal for Barcelona’s title race and their path in the Champions League.
Barcelona was initially aiming for Bernardo as their midfield would get stacked up, and there will no hopes for further changes left. Bernardo being a Manchester City player, because to playing the closest style to Barcelona, could adapt way too easy, than compared to the other players if bought from the Premier League.
