Qatar unveils Fan Villages for supporters during the 2022 FIFA World Cup
Qatar FIFA World Cup 2022
For all football enthusiasts throughout the world, there is good news to celebrate. The 2022 FIFA World Cup fan village that was supposed to be constructed in Qatar, is now complete. The cost of lodging in the fan village will be $207 per night, which works out to be somewhat pricey.
The information that a fan village with accommodations for fans traveling from all over the world will be established in Doha was confirmed. There were three locations in Doha that were open for the same to help and provide the best for the fans, including Zafaran, Ras Bu Fontas, and Rawdat Al Jahhaniya.
These areas were taken into consideration because they are close to cultural sites, beaches, stadiums, and other FIFA World Cup events and have easy access to all essentials including public transportation. Qatar is doing all in its power to make the World Cup one of the most organised and well-attended events ever.
A modular cabin costs $207 per night for two people, or roughly $103 per person. Each unit offers a private bathroom, a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, a 24-hour reception, weekly housekeeping, and adjacent restaurants with a range of dining options. It also has either two single beds or one double bed. For two people to remain during the entire tournament, the cost would be approximately $5,598.

The regulatory authority of Qatar has also established a website or platform where information about lodging options is well explained and includes rooms from about 80% of Qatari hotels. This official website was set up to prevent the necessary individuals from falling for superfluous World Cup sales gimmicks.
There are rumors that FIFA organizers have also imposed a cap on the amount that hotels can charge visitors for rooms. A three-star hotel’s cost is limited at about $120. MSC Cruises has also agreed to lease two cruise ships to Qatar for the duration of the World Cup. Compared to other possibilities, the fan village does appear to be an expensive choice.
