Real Madrid beats PSG in the race to sign amazing Aurelien Tchouameni, takes the Frenchman for €100m including add ons

After weeks and weeks of rumors, Real Madrid has signed Aurelien Tchouameni for €100m including add ons from AS Monaco, according to Fabrizio Romano. This transfer has been given the Here we go! by Fabrizio Romano.
Tchouameni has emerged as one of the most sought-after young midfielders in the world. The defensive midfielder played splendid football for Monaco in the 2021-22 season, featuring in 50 games for the club across competitions.
In an earlier report, Fabrizio claimed that PSG were aware of Tchouameni’s intention of moving to the Santiago Bernabeu but Real Madrid’s recent Champions League turned the tides in Madrid’s favor.
As per Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain had made Tchouameni their “top priority” for the summer. Romano, however, insisted that the Whites had the edge in the race for the midfielder.
The transfer specialist claimed that personal terms were agreed upon with the player and the Madrid squad were optimistic about completing the transfer. He tweeted:
“Real Madrid have signed Aurelién Tchouaméni. Talks are progressing well with AS Monaco, after verbal agreement on personal terms. Negotiations will continue in the next hours – Real Madrid sources are now increasingly confident.”

How was Aurelien Tchouameni last season?
The 22-year-old emerged as an elite midfielder last season with Monaco, making 50 appearances in all competitions and chipping in with five goals and three assists, and he is now a regular in Didier Deschamps’ France squads.
Tchouameni played the majority of his minutes as a defensive midfielder, operating either as a lone anchor man or alongside Youssouf Fofana in a pivot, but he is also comfortable in a slightly more advanced role.
He is set to become Real’s second signing of the summer after Antonio Rudiger, who has agreed to join the club on a free transfer after allowing his Chelsea contract to expire.
Los Blancos missed out on the signing of Kylian Mbappe earlier this summer and quickly turned their attention to Tchouameni, who had also attracted from Chelsea, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.
FirstSportz understands that personal terms were agreed with all four sides but Tchouameni later broke off talks with the latter three, having decided that he wanted to join Real this summer, and negotiations between the two clubs continued.
