Real Madrid books the entire luxurious ‘Auberge du Jeu de Palme’ hotel for the 2021-22 UEFA Champions League final
The countdown for the Champions League has begun. Real Madrid will be taking on Liverpool at Stade de France in Paris, on May 29th. Originally slated to be held at Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg, UEFA had to change the venue following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Almost four years ago, both sides met in the final in Kyiv. Real Madrid thrashed the Merseyside club by 3-1, thanks to a brace from Gareth Bale -which included a bicycle kick bizarrely reminiscent of Ronaldo’s bicycle in the same stage of the event the previous season- after Karim Benzema’s poaching goal gave them an early lead.
For Liverpool, this is going to be the third final in the last five years. They are currently engaged in a thrilling race with Manchester City for the Premier League title. Even if they win their last game, they will have to depend on Manchester City’s match against Aston Villa, but they are totally in control of their destiny for their second Champions League in 4 years. On the other hand, Real Madrid has already secured the domestic title, and they are on their quest for the record 14th European Cup.

The Los Blancos have booked a lavish villa, embraced into the middle of Chantilly forest, about 30km away from the hustle and bustle of Paris for the UEFA Champions League final. The luxury 5-star complex is located next to Chateau de Chantilly and is a 40-minute drive to the Stade de France, which is hosting the Champions League final.
It is understood that Real Madrid has booked out the resort for three days leading up to the final, so that will no doubt mean at least 54 holes for Gareth Bale. There are 92 18th-Century French-style rooms in the beautiful hotel set in stunning countryside, part of the estate that belonged to the Duke of Aumale.
There are 92 18th-Century French-style rooms in the beautiful hotel set in stunning countryside, part of the estate that belonged to the Duke of Aumale. The most expensive is the £2,500-a-night Presidential Suite – a 200 sqm double room featuring separate living and dining rooms, a marble bathroom, a walk-in wardrobe, and stunning views, no doubt for Karim “The Dream” Benzema, their most prized asset this season.
But none of them are available for the nights of Thursday 26, Friday 27, or Saturday 28 when Real Madrid will be in town. Carlo Ancelotti’s squad will therefore have unlimited and exclusive access to the swimming pool, spa with massages, sauna, Turkish bath, and state-of-the-art gym.
Ancelotti also has his choice of five conference rooms all fitted with the latest tech to deliver his pre-match meetings ahead of the titan clash against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool – although his superiors, the Real directors and president Florentino Perez, are going to stay somewhere in central Paris, according to reports.
Karim Benzema and Co may even get on horseback and try out the equestrian center and polo if their boss allows – although Bale and Eden Hazard will no doubt be barred for fear of getting hurt if a horse breathes heavily on the injury-prone pair.
