Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti charged with ‘tax fraud’ of €400k by Spanish authorities

Real Madrid’s Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti is the latest football personality charged with tax fraud by the Government of Spain. The manager is set to be tried at the court in Spain for the case.
According to reports, The Spanish magistrate who is in charge of the case, Judge María Inmaculada Lova, blamed the current Real Madrid manager for keeping €400,000 in the dark which he earned from his image rights deal in 2014. This dates back to the same time as his first spell in La Liga at Santiago Bernabeu.
While talking about the case the magistrate said, “It concludes the investigation against the Real Madrid coach and maintains that he hid his image rights during his first spell at the head of the white team.”
The exact amount allegedly defrauded is said to be €386,361. This was reportedly the amount he received for the former Chelsea image rights which he didn’t declare before the Treasury.
The Italian manager too accepted all the facts that were provided against him in the case. He reportedly said that he was badly advised in this regard. Ancelotti said, “The trial to be held soon will close with an agreement in which the technician will accept a prison sentence that does not imply the payment of the defrauded quota and the corresponding sanction.”

Real Madrid has reportedly signed Turkish Top talent Arda Guler from Fenerbahce this summer. Guler had been a top target for many European Giants including Barcelona who were reportedly very close to signing him.
According to reports, Real Madrid has signed Guler on a six years contract. The transfer of the player was worth €20 million + add-ons. Fenerbahce also has a 20% on the future transfer of the player.
Guler is reportedly called the ‘Turkish Messi’ in his homeland for his immense skill with the ball. The player had a great impact on the team last season. He scored six goals and provided seven assists while making 35 appearances in his previous season for the Turkish Giants.
