Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti gives his prediction ahead of Milan v Inter Milan UCL semifinal, surprises everyone

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was questioned about the upcoming Milan derby in the UEFA Champions League semifinals. The Italian spoke to the media following Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw versus Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabeu.
When asked by a journalist if he could comment on the match between AC Milan and Inter Milan, Ancelotti responded enthusiastically, saying, “Forza Milan! With all due respect to Inter, but I cannot not say Forza Milan.” Ancelotti won one Serie A and two Champions League with the Rossoneri. He showed his support for his former team and wished them success in the upcoming game. However, he surprised everyone by saying that he expected Inter to score a goal, considering his allegiances to Milan.
The Italian manager’s comments also hinted at his desire to see Milan in the final of the Champions League, which will take place in Istanbul on June 10th, 2023. Carlo Ancelotti expressed his hope that his former club would face off against his current club, Real Madrid.
The Derby della Madonnia promises to be an exciting affair, with both teams having a rich history and fierce rivalry. Milan has been in impressive form this season, and their performances in the Champions League have been solid. However, they are two points below rivals Inter in Serie A. The Nerazzurri are in 4th with 63 points and remain in pole position to secure Champions League football next season.

Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi calls for desire
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi has called for a brave performance in the opening leg of the Champions League semi-final against AC Milan. The Italian tactician addressed Wednesday’s clash in Tuesday’s typical pre-match press conference. The blue team from Milan is on a roll, with a five-match winning run in all competitions.
“The qualification for the semi-finals of the Champions League, reaching the Coppa Italia final, and the latest results have allowed us to prepare for the match in the best possible way,” said Inzaghi in his press conference. “Tomorrow is the derby, we all know its importance, and we want to face it in the best possible way”.
InInzaghi also urged his players to overcome their nervousness and show great drive and effort to reach the grand final. “There mustn’t be fear. There must be a great desire. We have to stay together, with our fans, as we have done during this journey.”
