The Brazilian young star said:
I was attracted by the Premier League, and obviously, Chelsea is a strong brand that has won two Champions Leagues. I was told that it rains a lot in London, but that wouldn’t be a problem for me because, as my father used to say, I always liked playing in the rain. But I always made it clear to my agent that my dream was Real Madrid.
The 17-year-old player shared that big English clubs, especially Chelsea, were interested in him. He liked Chelsea’s offer and was okay with London’s frequent rain, which he thought was good for playing. However, he chose Real Madrid over the Premier League’s attractions, Chelsea’s offer, and the global use of English. Despite these factors, he stayed firm in his decision to join Real Madrid.
