Real Madrid‘s Jude Bellingham and Linda Caicedo received the 2023 Golden Boy and Golden Girl awards from Tuttosport. Chosen by 50 sports journalists, these honors celebrate the top male and female players under 21. The awards ceremony is set for December 4th in Turin.

This recognition, initiated by Dutch midfielder Rafael Van Der Vaart, has a rich history. Further, Bellingham, making history as Real Madrid’s first recipient, joins the ranks of Wayne Rooney and Raheem Sterling. His outstanding performances for both Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund earned him the Kopa Trophy at this year’s Ballon d’Or gala.

Currently, Linda Caicedo, an 18-year-old Colombian footballer, shines in women’s football. With 24 appearances for Los Blancos, she notably impressed at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, guiding Colombia to the quarterfinals and scoring the tournament’s Goal of the Tournament.
