“Real Madrid is an example to us”- Thomas Muller cites Spanish giants as an epitome of never giving up attitude
Thomas Muller praising Real Madrid
The Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich has been facing a good amount of trouble concerning their trophy dreams for the league, falling behind four teams on the table. Recently the Bavarian star Thomas Muller has said, “Maybe Real Madrid is an example to us” citing them as a team that they must look up to in tough times.
The German further added, “When things aren’t going well, it’s all about getting back up. We’d do well to follow that.” The player takes the Spanish giants as an ideal team to follow when things aren’t necessarily going well for a team who has been a part of numerous victories in its past, then makes a promise as well to get back up where they belong.
Real Madrid could be the perfect example to cite when it’s about handling pressure situations or fallouts such as the Bavarians faced with Robert Lewandowski’s transfer to Barcelona, the team has been struggling since and would take its required time to get back up on their feet and give the fans a sight of joy.

Real Madrid: The tsunami after the drought
After the massive heartbreak that Real Madrid faced back in 2018 after winning the UEFA champions league for a record 3 repeated times, with the farewell of their legendary star Cristiano Ronaldo to Italy. Right after, the team struggled a lot both in the La Liga and the Champions League to do well, and were defeated time and again.
The same year later, another blow to the team was the dispersal of their coach Zinedine Zidane who has done the 3 times UCL haul with the Los Blancos. After this, the team saw many legends leave the club such as Sergio Ramos and Marcelo, and more recently, Varane and Casemiro. Even after these blows, the team stood up and God knows how.
The team has won the league 2 times since then and another Champions League victory for the 2021-22 season after being down with back-to-back comebacks. The young talents and the masters in the team are all back in form to rule Spain and Europe as well. The new young signings have also proven to be an asset to the team.
