Football Twitter is convinced that Jude Bellingham is ‘him’. One can imagine how good the Real Madrid star is if professional footballers hold the same opinion. The youngster stepped up once again as Real Madrid beat Girona by four goals to none. The Englishman scored 2 of his team’s four goals, while also giving a magnificent performance overall.
The player took to Instagram after the win, posting a picture of his trademark celebration, and captioning it with a strong message. His caption read,
Nothing's decided yet, we'll keep pushing! 20 piece.?
The comment section was exactly like you’d expect it to be. Still, instead of fanboys and supporters, it was filled with praise from professional footballers, a majority of them being Bellingham’s England teammates.
Vinicius Jr named his teammate ‘the best’; with his current form, it certainly isn’t a false claim.
Let him cooooook
This was James Maddison‘s reaction to Bellingham’s performance.
‘Unstoppable’, ‘Ballon d’Or season’, and ‘?’ were some of the other comments made by the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham’s brother, Jobe Bellingham.
What Jude Bellingham becoming the face of La Liga means for Kylian Mbappe
The boy from Birmingham is now the ‘best’ player at one of the greatest teams in Europe. His meteoric rise to the top also means that the 20-year-old is slowly becoming the face of La Liga in Spain. His 20 goals and 6 assists in all competitions is certainly what someone who’s paid €103 million would expect. Some may even argue that he’s been the only player worthy of such a price tag in recent seasons.
Jude Bellingham has entered the conversation for being one of, if not the best footballer in the world as well. That brings the discussion to Kylian Mbappe and the Frenchman’s heavily anticipated move to Real Madrid. Jude Bellingham already shaping up to be the ‘generational’ talent that he is, begs the question of whether Mbappe is ‘needed’ at Madrid.
The Madrid #5 fits the profile of a ‘Galactico’ and fans shouldn’t be surprised if he quickly becomes the central character at the club. Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe is on the verge of a move to Madrid, and if he is coming to the Bernabeu, fans have to wonder what it means for the Vinicius-Bellingham-Rodrygo partnership.
Will he fit in? Will the ‘best’ talent in football ‘struggle’ to adapt to the Real Madrid ‘style’ of play? Can a team thrive with two superstars? Only time will tell.
