Real Madrid offers first multimillion bid for Jude Bellingham: Reports
Bellingham is considered to be one of the hottest properties in world football
Real Madrid has reportedly made a bid of over €140 million for Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham. The midfielder is understood to be the top transfer for Los Blancos in the summer.
Initially, Real Madrid was unwilling to pay the huge fee. But they increased their bid in hopes to sign the midfielder before other clubs do. However, it is unclear whether Borussia Dortmund will compromise on their original asking rate of €150 million.
Bellingham is currently one of the hottest properties in world football. Apart from Real Madrid, top clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester City are also in talks with the player’s agent hoping to get the signature from the 19-year-old. Real Madrid is looking to sign the midfielder to add more depth to a squad already stacked with young signings such as Aurelian Tchouameni, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Federico Valverde.

Real Madrid exploring alternatives to Jude Bellingham
As there is a huge demand for Jude Bellingham, it is not guaranteed whether the midfielder will join Real Madrid. Therefore, Real Madrid have been exploring other personalities to add to their squad in case the Bellingham bid fails.
Florian Wirtz, the attacking midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen, is considered to be a special talent from the Bundesliga. With a transfer value around of €70 million, Real Madrid could mop up the German in the summer.
Bruno Guimaraes is also an option for the Los Blancos with the Spanish side having enquired with the Brazilian’s entourage multiple times during the course of the season. He has been vital for Newcastle United‘s top-four charge in the Premier League and would be a great addition to Real Madrid as he is understood to be the perfect player to fit into their midfield system.
