Real Madrid planning to sack Carlo Ancelotti at the end of season if he fails to fulfil these two conditions
The Italian's position as Real Madrid boss could be under scrutiny come the end of the season.
Reports suggest that Real Madrid CF could sack Carlo Ancelotti. The Los Merengues have not enjoyed as good of a campaign as last time out as they look to be out of the race for the La Liga title.
It is reported that if Ancelotti fails to win both the Copa Del Rey and the UEFA Champions League. The Los Blancos are yet to win concrete silverware this season and it is rumoured that this will threaten the Italian’s position. Real Madrid have always valued success on the pitch over loyalty to their employees.
Real Madrid had been interested in Thomas Tuchel. However, the club have since decided to stick with their manager for the remainder of the season. There are also rumours suggesting that Zinedine Zidane might be willing to stage a comeback at the club. The Frenchman won three consecutive UCLs with the Madrid club.

Manchester City receive boost as Luka Modric set to miss vital clash
Luka Modric has been ruled out of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals first leg. The Croatian has picked up a thigh injury which is expected to keep him out for at least two weeks.
Carlo Ancelotti is devastated at the news of his star midfielder’s absence. The Italian stated, “He has had a small injury and it depends on how it evolves. I don’t know if he will reach the Cup final, we must evaluate him.”
The injury is likely to rule the midfielder out for the Copa Del Rey clash as well. The Croat might also miss the decisive second leg of the semi-finals as well. Real Madrid will need Modric’s replacement to step up big time to achieve a result against the Cityzens.
