Real Madrid President Florentino Perez set to receive €1 after winning ‘private audio leak’ case

After winning the private audio leak case, renowned Spanish club Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is poised to get €1. Real Madrid President Florentino Perez must get one euro from El Confidencial as compensation for disclosing recordings that were supposed to be private, according to a Spanish court judgement.
He requested only one euro from them because he wanted to make it clear that the case was more about earning back respect and valuing everyone’s privacy than it was about needing money. On the tape that was released, Perez was heard last year berating club managers and legends.
Spanish media outlet El Confidencial published the audio about the incident, which went viral and embarrassed the Real Madrid manager. The only thing that wanted him to win the case was his self-respect, and everyone has a right to at least the minimal amount of privacy they deserve.
The facts and the audios are “completely taken out of context” the court claims and El Confidencial has crossed the line into a person’s personal space by publishing them. Stars like Vicente Del Bosque, Iker Casillas, Jose Mourinho, Raul Gonzalez, and Cristiano Ronaldo were referenced in the tape.

Real Madrid under Florentino Perez
Real Madrid’s president for two terms was Florentino Perez. His first tenure began in 2000, and he remained on the team until 2006, when he announced his resignation. The most prosperous era of his presidency tenure was his second term, which began in 2009.
After being granted a fourth term as president of Real Madrid on June 2, 2013, Pérez hired Carlo Ancelotti to succeed Mourinho. He made his ideas to restore the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium public in 2019. Perez led Real Madrid to their sixth La Liga and sixth Champions League titles in the 2021–22 campaign, matching Santiago Bernabéu’s record for the latter.
