Real Madrid trolled Whatsapp for today's breakdown

Spanish giants Real Madrid came onto Twitter today, mocking WhatsApp for their worldwide outage. The internationally available freeware social media platform WhatsApp has been down for several users all over the world today. WhatsApp has been out this morning from around 11 am and stayed till 1:00 pm (IST).

Real Madrid tweeted on their official account saying that “When you come to @Twitter and realize that, yes, WhatsApp is down…” Immediately after WhatsApp’s down is reported, several users stormed into Twitter, making the hashtag #whatsappisdown trending. WhatsApp has been bought by Mark Zuckerberg and his company ‘Meta’ for around $19 billion in 2014.

This is not the first time Real Madrid posting about recent issues on their Twitter handle. They are very active on social media platforms and their admin teams always make sure to stay updated with their fans. They have 45.1M followers on Twitter and 127M followers on Instagram handle.
Los Blancos have been in stunning form this season. They are one of the three teams who are still unbeaten in Europe’s top 5 leagues this season including Napoli and Paris Saint Germain. They have also scored 28 goals from 11 matches including their wins over Xavi’s Barcelona and Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid in 2022-23 season

Real Madrid stays top in the Spanish league this season with 31 points from 11 matches including their superb 3-1 win over arch-rivals FC Barcelona. Uruguayan Star Federico Valverde tops the scoring chart for the team with 6 goals. Brazilian duo Vinicius Jr and Rodrigo have scored five and four goals respectively.
Los Blancos also stays in first place in Group F of the UEFA Champions League this season leading over German team RB Leipzig. Real Madrid will now face them in their next match on 26 October, Wednesday 12:30 pm (IST).
