Real Madrid have submitted a formal request to La Liga to reschedule the date of their final match of the ongoing season, to prepare for a Taylor Swift concert. The American pop star will perform on May 30, 2024, at the Santiago Bernabeu, as a part of her ‘The Eras Tour’.

Los Blancos are expected to host fellow La Liga side Real Betis at the Bernabeu stadium, in what would be the season finale. The match would also be crucial in deciding the La Liga winner, as well as teams that qualify for the European competitions. The game is scheduled for May 26, just four days before Swift’s concert. Hence, the club has officially requested La Liga to rearrange the match date to facilitate preparations for the concert.
