Real Madrid set to bid huge for this Manchester City star next summer: Reports

Real Madrid to go for Joao Cancelo in 2023

Real Madrid has been at its peak after winning both the La Liga and the Champions League last season and has been in everyone’s view since. Recently it has been reported that the Spanish giants have their eyes on the Manchester City star Joao Cancelo, though the Portuguese player has already signed a contract with City till 2027.

The Spanish giants are never in need of players that can’t afford to buy. The team has currently Carvajal as their right back, who’s getting up to his age, and Cancelo would be a perfect replacement or stand-by player. Cancelo is not just a right-back but inhibits playmaking qualities as well, which is quite good for a defender.

Real Madrid has been subjected to the best signing window taking Rudiger from Chelsea for free and Tchouameni for €80+20m. The team’s final verdict is a sale of €97m for players and then buying €80m worth of players which gets them a net sale of €17m. Which is good by the standards of the club.

Real Madrid’s smart signings this year

Real Madrid after the leaving of their star players like Varane and the legend Sergio Ramos, the club needed a high working rate defense that would eventually help them with the league and Champions League. With having Rudiger that too free of cost with Militao and Alaba.

The Los Blancos were the reigning champions last season, and the defense they needed they’re getting now. Tchouameni is a young prodigy that will help the team achieve wonders. Though it’s a whopping total of €100m for the young star but, considering the other signings, it is one to look forward.

With Gareth Bale, Marcelo, and Isco leaving the club, they have reunited and played good football since then. These legends bid farewell to their club after the match against Real Betis in May 2022. The signing of the Portuguese star would definitely add to their satisfaction.
