Real Madrid star, Fede Valverde has named the Etihad as the most difficult stadium where he has played. Home of Premier League side, Manchester City, the Uruguayan has credited the club’s style of play and support of fans as the main factor for his reasoning.
In a recent interview with YouTuber, ‘‘EZZEQUIEL’, Fede Valverde was asked a variety of questions by the Argentinian influencer. After talking and discussing Valverde’s career so far, a quickfire questions session took place towards the end of the video.“Most difficult stadium you’ve played in?” Valverde was asked this question by the YouTuber. The Uruguayan star who featured in Real Madrid’s visit to the Etihad as part of the Champions League last season answered based on his first-hand experience.

Last season, Fede Valverde visited the Etihad for the third time in his career. Unfortunately, he lost all three matches there. In six games against Manchester City in the Champions League, he won only once, drew once, and lost four times. His only victory against the Sky Blues came at the Santiago Bernabéu when Rodrygo scored two quick goals in the 2021/22 UCL campaign.
With a new season underway and the same Champions League goal, to win it. Valverde hopes for better results if Real Madrid faces Manchester City again.
