Real Madrid trying to sign key Manchester United player to strengthen defense: Reports

Diogo Dalot

Diogo Dalot of Manchester United is reportedly a transfer target for Real Madrid as they are ready to offload Dani Carvajal . Throughout Madrid’s successful nine-year stretch, Carvajal has shown to be a club stalwart. Indeed, since his 2013 arrival, he has won 17 major prizes, including four Champions League winners’ medals.

The last two seasons in particular, though, have seen him deal with a number of injury issues. Carvajal missed 12 games due to a hamstring injury last season, and he has already missed three games so far this year.

The current Carvajal replacement, Lucas Vazquez, has appeared in 11 of Real’s previous 15 games. But when it comes to a new right-back acquisition, sources report that Madrid is keeping an eye on Manchester United’s Portugal international Dalot as part of their effort to bring in a “first-class” player.

Following his 2018 arrival at Old Trafford under Jose Mourinho, the 22-year-old has struggled for playing time for the majority of his Old Trafford career. In actuality, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hired Aaron Wan-Bissaka after Mourinho was fired. Last season, the Englishman ejected Dalot from the group and sent him on loan to AC Milan.

Diogo Dalot has, however, regained his position thanks to Wan-decline Bissaka’s in form and temporary manager Ralf Rangnick. Therefore, El Nacional acknowledges that it will be “tough” to sign Dalot from United. In fact, Atletico Madrid had Dalot on their radar in January.

Madrid is now considering Max Aarons of Norwich. After his debut, the England Under-21 international stood out for Norwich, appearing in 156 games for the Canaries at the age of 22. Pedro Porro, a full-back on loan from Manchester City to Sporting, is Madrid’s main target. The 22-year-old Spaniard, on a two-year loan from City, is doing well in his second season.

In March, he made his Spanish debut, capping out his first season in Portugal. Porro has participated in 24 games this season, tallying four goals and four assists. But before to those matches, he participated in each of the previous eight contests.

Although he has regained his spot on the team, it is still uncertain what will happen to him after this season.
Dalot’s deal expires at the conclusion of the following campaign, and United intends to replace Rangnick with a new permanent manager for the upcoming summer transfer window. Following his recent success, the full-back is allegedly in line for a new contract. His future will ultimately depend on how the new Old Trafford boss views the team.
