The Real Madrid maestro and German national Toni Kroos believes that his UEFA Champions League victories are more valuable for him than his World Cup victory with Germany. Stirring a bit of an upset amongst fans and the media.
The player said, “5 UCLs or my World Cup? Not a hard question, my UCLs.” Claiming that the victories with his club in the highest honor for him, having won it five humungous times, which only a few players have achieved in their careers so far.
The statement from the player has stirred up a bit of a divide amongst his fans and Football fanatics on his comparison of the world cup to UCL as ‘not a hard question. The World Cup has its charms and the achievement of winning it for your own country must be a feeling unparalleled.
But the ridiculous five times champions league win cannot be snubbed. Surely a memory that the player shall cherish his whole life. “If you’re lucky you can play the world cup three or four times and the Champions League every year, but they’ve all been special moments,” said the midfielder.

Having a FIFA World Cup to your name is a luxury, and its value cannot be understood by anyone better than the two greats of the sport Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, as they both have won the UCL and the Ballon d’Or multiple times in their careers but are still to grab the golden cup for their nation.
Having a World Cup surely has to do with which team you’re being associated with, as only eight players in the history of football have completed the hat-trick to the trophies and gone down as the most accomplished players.
Bobby Charlton, Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Muller, Paolo Rossi, Zinedine Zidane, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, and Kaka. Even the UCL and Ballon d’Or could depend on one or two players outperforming every other individual in the competition but not the case with the prestigious golden cup.
