In a recent training session at the Ciudad ground, Real Madrid’s skipper Marcelo Vieira and Rodrygo pulled off the epic ‘Siiuuu’ celebration after the former hit a goal. It was a nice moment as it became evident that Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature celebration is still emulated by his former club’s teammates.
By doing the ‘SIUUU’ celebration, they, in a way, paid a tribute to one of the greatest players in the history of the club and the highest goal-scorer of all time for the Los Blancos.
Real Madrid is preparing for their next league game against Getafe after their comprehensive win at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea when they thrashed them 3-1, courtesy of Benzema’s hat-trick. Real Madrid chase the title as they seem to be the clear winner of the La Liga 2021-22 season with a lead of 12 points over their arch-rivals, FC Barcelona.
Cristiano Ronaldo made the ‘Siiuu’ celebration popular and many players have tried to emulate it
Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest ever that Real Madrid has ever had. His name is written all over the club’s history books and his name is written with the other Real Madrid legends. He has won four UCL titles with the Los Blancos and two La Liga over his 9-years long run at the Bernabeu, hitting 34 sensational league hat tricks for them.
Cristiano Ronaldo first introduced the famous “Siiuu” celebration against Chelsea in a pre-season tournament in 2014. He scored two goals in the match and gave a harsh reply to Jose Mourinho’s (Chelsea’s former coach) comments on him when the Potuguese manager disrespected him by saying that there is only one Ronaldo(from Brazil), and he thinks there is no other Ronaldo.
Mourinho also coached Ronaldo during the initial seasons at Real Madrid and it was under Mourinho only that Ronaldo shot up to glory at Real Madrid.
