Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga front runner to win Golden Boy 2022 over the likes of Jude Bellingham, Gavi, and Ryan Gravenberch: Reports
Eduardo Camavinga
The Golden Boy 2022 is set to be announced soon and reports suggest that the decision has been made. Real Madrid’s 19 year old midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga looks set to win the trophy after an astonishing season with the Los Blancos.
The Galacticos signed Camavinga last season for €31 million beating the likes of Manchester United. It seems their transfer has paid off after the Frenchman helped them to their 14th Champions League title and 35th La Liga title last season.

Eduardo Camavinga’s start to life at Real Madrid was slow. The player was not used a lot for Carlo Ancelotti with the Italian preferring his reliant Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro. However, little by little, the youngster gained confidence and became an integral part of the team.
Camavinga’s best performance of the season has to be against Manchester City in the second leg of the semi-finals of the Champions League. With 2 goals down, and half the team tired, the player showed immense grit in the middle of the park to set up important plays that eventually led to goals for his team.
Although Eduardo Camavinga made just 16 starts throughout the season for Real Madrid, his performances and trophies are enough to showcase how much he is worth. As reported by AS, he is set to win the Golden Boy 2022 award ahead of the likes of Jude Bellingham, Gavi and Nuno Mendes.
