Florentino Pérez, the president of Real Madrid, has made a bold statement on the new Bernabéu stadium. He announced a guarantee that the, combined with the Sixth Street partnership, will generate around €400m in turnover yearly. This is a significant amount of money and will help ensure the club’s long-term future.

Real Madrid, one of the biggest football teams in Europe, recently reached an agreement with the American investment firm Sixth Street. Under the terms of the deal, Sixth Street will invest roughly $380 million for a 30 percent share in the club’s stadium operations.

Real Madrid and Sixth Street have entered a long-term agreement through a joint venture to see the two organizations collaborate on stadium-based income for the next two decades. The joint venture will encompass Real’s in-stadium income, except for season-ticket sales. It will also include Legends, an American sports event management and hospitality company majority owned by Sixth Street.

Real Madrid are facing two obstacles in their attempts to sign Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland

Karim Benzema is approaching his 35th birthday, and it is becoming increasingly evident that Real Madrid needs to search for a new striker to replace him. This season, Benzema has been plagued with issues related to his health, leading to him missing several matches for the team as well as ruling himself out of the World Cup.

According to Marca, Real Madrid is not considering moving to Haaland. His history of injuries is a cause for concern, and his wage demands are too high to make any potential deal viable. At 22 years old, Haaland has had to take precautions due to a history of minor injuries. However, none of them have been severe enough to cause long-term damage.

Conversely, Haaland is already amongst the most affluent soccer players globally, and it is well-deserved. It will be a challenge for Real Madrid to match the salary he is currently receiving at Manchester City, let alone increase it. Real Madrid is not presently viewing Erling Haaland as a top priority for their future signings. Still, that could all be subject to change if he continues to display his outstanding talent over the next few years.
