As Real Madrid played Osasuna on Saturday, Vinicius Jr. received abuse from the Osasuna supporters. It has been challenging for him to deal with this problem since the season’s beginning.
Fans screamed “Vinicius, son of a b**ch” during the one-minute silence for the tragic events in Turkey and Syria and to give respect to those who were impacted. During the season, Vinicius has been exposed to hatred and racist slurs. Thibaut Courtois commented after the game, “You have to stop looking at Vini and look at the people. I saw parents sing ‘Vinicius die.’” “
“You see parents with their children beside them screaming thee things. You have to stop looking at Vini and look at the people. The environment of these stadiums is cool to play, but without this nonsense,” the Belgian further added.
Osasuna’s goalkeeper, Sergio Herrera, also defended Vinicius Jr later and said, “Vinicius’s behavior has been normal. I think that, in the end, the Vinicius case gets worse with each field he goes to; it is being revolutionized and gaining traction… What is happening with him has to be stopped. We are giving too much importance to this topic.”
Vinicius has 16 goals and 7 assists in all competitions. He has dealt with this problem while simultaneously performing brilliantly. He will now concentrate on playing Liverpool on Tuesday.

Real Madrid’s superstar Toni Kroos backs the Super League
Real Madrid veteran player Toni Kroos criticized UEFA for various reasons and backed the reintroduction of the European Super League. He looks forward to the league as he talked about it on his podcast.
“I think we will see the Super League. And I believe so for several reasons. The idea of the Super League has changed and deserves to be heard. If you look carefully from both angles, you will see that UEFA is by no means a great Samaritan for football fans and that the Super League has no plans, at least in the second attempt, to exclude any team because there will be no permanent founding members. It is a sports competition, an open tournament, managed by the clubs and not by UEFA because these clubs believe they do not need UEFA for that. I think this deserves at least one chance,” he said on his podcast.
Kroos blasted UEFA for introducing the Nations League, claiming it was unnecessary. The Round of 16 Champions League match between Real Madrid and Liverpool will see the midfielder in action.
