Transfer news of Memphis Depay to Real Sociedad
The very reputed and fan-followed team of the Spanish League Real Sociedad has come forward to show their interest in the Dutch star striker Memphis Depay from Barcelona. This is after they lost their star player Alexander Isak to the English Premier League club Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old Memphis Depay has not played any matches for Barcelona in LaLiga this season. After the arrival of Raphina and Lewandowski, Depay could not prolifer and was limited the chances to play his game. The thought of moving to another team that can offer him more game time is acceptable.
Memphis Depay has captained Olympique Lyon and was their main player from 2017 to 2021. He caught the eye of the football world and was transferred to Barcelona last season. He had played 139 matches for Lyon and had scored 63 goals for them. He has been instrumental in his team’s play always.

Isak’s numbers for Real Sociedad
The 22 year old Alexander Isak started his professional career for his boyhood club AIK. In January 2017, he was transferred to German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. He stayed for two seasons with them and then transferred to Real Sociedad. He grew as a icon with the team.
He had scored 44 goals from 132 matches. He settled there very easily and became one of their top strikers ever after Antoine Griezman. Moving to Newcastle United will allow him to prolifer as a player and understand his capabilities in a reputed league like English Premier League.
