“Robert Lewandowski will stay with us; We’re not crazy to discuss a transfer of a player who scores 30-40 goals for us every season”- Bayern Munich’s director Oliver Kahn on the striker’s possible move to FC Barcelona next year

Bayern Munich has denied claims of Robert Lewandowski moving away from the club this summer. The Bavarian Giants insisted that the Polish striker will stay with the club for another season.

“We have a contract with Robert. We’ve always said that we’d start talks. We started doing that a long time ago. He will stay with us. Robert knows what he has in Bayern. We know what we have in him. We’re not crazy to discuss a transfer of a player who scores 30-40 goals for us every season,” said Oliver Kahn, Bayern Munich’s director, in an interview with Prime Video.

Rober Lewandowski still has one year left on his contract with Bayern Munich with no talks of a contract extension just yet. The poacher is enjoying yet another prolific season this season, having already scored 45 goals in 39 games in all competitions.
