‘Fatty version of Ronaldo’ – Fans react to UNCANNY resemblance between Cristiano Ronaldo and his brother Hugo from latter’s wedding photos

Cristiano Ronaldo’s older brother, Hugo dos Santos Aveiro celebrated his wedding ceremony on the 4th of November in an event which was attended by his mother and sister, the player however was absent. The bride was led to the altar by the couple’s child where the, now husband, was awaiting his wife-to-be and Valentina, daughter of Katia Aveiro, was the girl with the rings.

The event took place in a small chapel in Madeira and much of the information known is through Elma Aveiro who shared photos of the ceremony on her Instagram. The caption read:  

Memorable day. Congratulations, my brother. Another stage in our lives.

She also uploaded several other photographs showcasing the luxurious night enjoyed by the Al-Nassr forward’s family as the bride and groom danced the night away with music in the background and their towering wedding cake in front of them on the balcony of the venue looking towards the city.

Cristiano Ronaldo was absent from the event as the player was representing his team in the Saudi Pro League, scoring a phenomenal goal in the 26th minute of the game from outside the box. He also assisted Aymeric Laporte with his first goal in an Al-Nassr kit after the centre-back tapped in a low cross from the Portuguese. This brings the club 4 points off the top with Al-Hilal retaining their number one spot in the league.

A win for Cristiano Ronaldo on the night and a magical evening for his family in Madeira, the family has enjoyed a memorable 4th of November from across the globe.

Twitter Reacts to Cristiano Ronaldo’s brother getting married

Youngest of the lot, Cristiano has three older siblings with his sister Elma Aveiro being the oldest in the family. His brother Hugo Aveiro is the second-oldest followed by his sister, Katia Aveiro after which Ronaldo falls into the distinct category of being the youngest. Fans have drawn resemblances between him and his brother Hugo when photos first came to light of his wedding ceremony with many believing this is what Ronaldo could look like in the future.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his family are known to be incredibly tight-knit with his parents and sisters present for every big moment of the player. Ronaldo also has shown that he cares for his elder brother a lot after he paid for Hugo’s rehabilitation fees due to his addiction to drugs.
