Manchester City’s squad and staff partied in Istanbul and Ibiza after their momentous win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Istanbul. They then returned to Manchester for additional celebrations. The drunken festivities were led by Jack Grealish. However, City shot-stopper Ederson claims that other members of the squad couldn’t hold their drinks as well as the former Aston Villa player.
Brazilian keeper Ederson said, “These are months of intense work. Who drinks, drinks. 99% of the group drank, enjoyed it. Many players ended only on Monday. That’s part of it. Gotta enjoy the good times. The missing 1% is Nathan Aké, there are others who don’t drink, but they made an exception.”
Portuguese international, Ruben Diaz apparently vomited in the handbag of Jack Grealish’s mom, Karen. This incident happened at the club in Ibiza where the squad was partying. This happened after taking two shots. Dias could not hold his liquor down.
He said, “Ruben Dias went to make that exception, but it didn’t work out for him. Two shots and he blew it all out. Coincidentally, it was all in Jack Grealish’s mother’s bag.”

Ruben Dias awarded in his native country, Portugal
Ruben Dias was honored in Portugal for his contribution to Manchester City‘s great season. Dias found himself out of the starting lineup more than he would have liked leading up to the World Cup. He was subsequently hampered further by a hamstring issue in Qatar. He then stormed back to form to lead the Blues to a third consecutive Premier League title and the treble.
Dias received the prize, Talent That Marks the World. This is a prize given out by Liga Portugal ambassadors to recognize the success of their players all over the world. The 26-year-old joins City teammate Joao Cancelo as the winner of the prize.
Dias said, “I would like to thank Liga Portugal for the ‘Talent that Marks the World’ award. I am very happy for this recognition and to feel the attention of the people in Portugal. I am greatly pleased and, without a doubt, it will serve as motivation for what is yet to come. Thank you all very much.”
