According to reports from football tranfer pundit Fabrizio Romano, the attacker has opted to leave Anfield this summer, with his contract set to expire at the end of next season.

Bayern has been in communication with the player’s camp on a regular basis, according to Romano, as they look for a successor for Robert Lewandowski, who is expected to depart the club in the summer.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Senegalese has reached a complete verbal agreement with the Bundesliga champions. A three-year contract has been proposed for Mane and he has reportedly agreed to it on personal terms.

His current club Liverpool or very aware of Mane‘s decision to leave Liverpool and join Bayern Munich. It is just a matter of time when the transfer is confirmed and he finally joins Bayern.

The Merseysiders have also rejected a €25 million approach from Bayern Munich, but Romano thinks that the latter will up their offer in order to achieve a verbal agreement since they are concerned that European heavyweights including as PSG and Real Madrid could hijack the deal if they do not step in quickly.

After officially confessing that he wants to leave the club, Lewandowski is edging his way out this summer, with Barcelona rumored to be his next destination.
