Vinicius Jr. has been subjected to racial abuse for over a year. The player has accused La Liga is not taking enough action against the racist abuses of the players and demanded legal action. Many people supported his cause, but Sergio Aguero had a different opinion.

The former Manchester City and FC Barcelona striker, who is often streaming on Twitch, accused Vinicius Jr. and his Real Madrid teammate, Rodrygo, of terrible behavior. On his stream, he claimed the duo keeps mocking their opponents throughout matches, but can’t handle being spoken to. He hinted that the two falsely accused their opponents of racially abusing them after being trash-talked to.

Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo’s history with racism

Both Brazilian wingers have been subject to racist abuse for a long time. Ever since he became a starter, Vinicius Jr. has regularly called out the league for it to occur. It escalated more when Atletico Madrid fans made an effigy of the player and hung it off a bridge. Many sources reported that the action was racially motivated.

Rodyrgo has also been a victim, with his recent clash with Lionel Messi being a reason. During Brazil’s recent World Cup qualifier fixture with Argentina, the young winger and Messi had an altercation regarding the treatment of fans.

After his fight, many people started hurling racist abuses at him, with many fans and players supporting the young winger. Vinicius claimed that racism was normal in the league, with Carlo Ancelotti supporting his claims. The Real Madrid manager also added that the two were now used to being abused.

Real Madrid won their recent match against Union Berlin in the UEFA Champions League. They finished 1st in their group and are in Pot 1 for the draw of the Round of 16. In the league, they are 2 points behind Girona. They will now face Villareal on Sunday night.
