Shakira is considered to be one of the greatest Latin artists of all time alongside Enrique Iglesias and Selena Gomez. She has a lot of accomplishments and has garnered a huge fan following. Recently, she extended her record of being the Latin singer with the most awards winning a total of 403.

She won eight awards in the Premios Juventud ceremony. This included the “Best Female Artist of The Year.” She went to the function with her two sons, Milan and Sasha. All of them were overjoyed after the winner was announced and they all hugged each other. The family had a rough year after her split with ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique.

The couple broke up in June 2022 after dating for 11 years. Since then, Shakira resurrected her musical career, taking relentless jabs at Gerard Pique through her music. She has also hit out at his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti. This has helped produce numerous hits this year including the Studio session with BZRP and Copa Vacia with Manuel Turizo.

Shakira also holds the record of becoming the Latin singer with the most listeners on Spotify this year. She has had a successful professional career in the music industry. But the wounds of her personal life still remain intact. She was recently accused of tax fraud by the Barcelona government for the second time in three years.

Recently, Shakira was hugely successful in the Primeos Juventud Awards. She won eight awards including Best Female Artist and Agent of Change for her contributions in giving underprivileged children a better life. Shakira’s children gladly helped her handle some of the heavy awards, but the youngest of the siblings, Sasha, struggled a bit with the weight.

This led to an uncomfortable moment for him on the red carpet, which was captured by the attending media. However, a kind-hearted woman who happened to be nearby, noticed Sasha’s discomfort. She quickly rushed to his aid while they were preparing to take a picture.

Shakira and her children now live in Miami after moving there from Barcelona following her separation from Gerard Pique. It has been a challenging venture for them as this is the first time that the children have lived away from Spain.
