There has been no shortage of fallout following Shakira and Gerard Pique’s decision to break up after 12 years of relationship and the birth of two children. Other issues await the couple as they continue to discuss their future with their attorneys, particularly custody of their two children, Sasha and Milan.
According to the YouTube show Chisme no like, both of their in-laws are unhappy with the split and have been attempting to work things out. Shakira’s children are Milan and Sasha, who are 9 and 7 years old, respectively, and she has hired two prominent attorneys to help her obtain custody. Both parties will appear in court to determine who will have custody of their children.
Nidia Ripoll, Shakira’s mother, has stated that she would be pleased if her daughter and Gerard Pique reconciled following their highly publicised breakup. She told Europa Press, “Of course, I would like them to get back together.” To maintain her emotional distance from her daughter, the Colombian woman’s mother had refrained from speaking about the subject since the couple split up.
According to the programme, Shakira’s parents want a resolution. They are not alone in their feelings, as Pique’s parents agree, going so far as to refuse to meet Pique’s alleged new girlfriend. Given that Shakira wants to take Sasha and Milan to Miami, which the football player is vehemently opposed to, it appears that both sets of in-laws are concerned about what will happen to them in the future.

Her comment implies that the two celebrities have not reached an agreement and that talks have been difficult. Mane responded, “If there is anything, they will know in the end,” when asked if Shakira had any possibility of bringing the kids to Miami.
According to the YouTube program ‘Chisme No Like’, Shakira offered Pique several million dollars in exchange for the right to take the kids to Miami. She also promised to pay for five first-class tickets each year so that Pique could visit his kids in Miami, as well as full childcare for the two.
In addition, Pique would permit Milan and Sasha to travel together over the summer. The information that Shakira has also promised to pay 20% of the 2.5 million dollars the Barcelona player owes due to legal issues in Spain is maybe the most intriguing.
