After her devastating divorce, fans think they’ve found evidence that Shakira is secretly dating actor Chris Evans. The 45-year-old Colombian singer is currently single after ending her 11-year relationship with FC Barcelona soccer star Gerard Piqué.
Chris had dated Lily James for five years until their relationship ended in 2019. However, one observant follower saw Chris’ Instagram account was active.

“Chris Evans followed Shakira on Instagram the day Shakira and Piqué split up,” a fan wrote on Twitter.
Chris made a questionable statement in an interview shortly after Shakira and Chris separated, which led to additional rumors among fans. When Chris was being interviewed for The Gray Man, the question of what he is now most focused on came up.
He replied that he is looking for a partner to share the rest of his life with. Chris was questioned about Shakira’s most recent breakup in another interview with Lightyear.
He replied, “I’m a tremendous admirer,” but added that he “hadn’t had the chance to meet her.”
Fans have been speculating on social media in the meanwhile, hoping the two do end up dating.
“I simply want Shakira and Chris to get together,” one person said. “Chris, please ask Shakira for dinner,” pleaded another.
Shakira sent a statement last month through her agency confirming her separation from Gerard but leaving out any specifics. While shooting the music video for her World Cup hit Waka Waka in 2010, the pair got to know one another. The next year, just after Spain won the World Cup, the former on-screen pair began dating. Milan, age nine, and Sasha, age seven, are the children of Shakira and the ex-Manchester United star; however, they never wed.
Meanwhile, Chris’ supporters are eager to assist him in finding love. Shakira isn’t the only famous person whose name has been mentioned in connection with Chris’ purported interest in her.
Fans also speculate that Chris may have had an affair with Portuguese actress Alba Baptista. Fans thought Chris and actress Selena Gomez were dating back in November 2021.
