Shakira and Gerard Piqué have been at the center of attention lately due to Shakira’s impending relocation to Miami with their children following the power duo’s split. The chaotic split occurred after the Colombian allegedly caught the former Barcelona captain having multiple extramarital affairs.
After the birth of Shakira’s second child, the Colombian explored the possibility of having another baby. According to MARCA, she was reportedly visiting a fertility clinic, using the pseudonym Sila Prieto to maintain her privacy. During these visits, Piqué, her then-partner, accompanied her. The singer never commented on any of the reports at the time and is currently focused on the upcoming move to Miami in a few weeks.
On top of that, Gerard Pique has recently started a relationship with a 23-year-old woman, which has kept the couple in the public eye. After the two split up at the beginning of the year, Shakira and Pique settled on the custody rights of their children; the boys would move with their mother to Miami.

A few months ago, Shakira opened up about the reasons for her split from her former beau, Gerard Pique, this year. The 45-year-old Colombian singer and the Barcelona and Spain defender, who share two children, had been together for 11 years before the separation. The two first crossed paths in 2010 when Shakira was filming for her official World Cup song “Waka Waka.”
Spanish outlets reported that infidelity was the cause of the breakup between Pique and Shakira. However, Shakira recently spoke to Elle Magazine and suggested another factor in the split. She said she had given up on her career to spend time with their children and be with Pique, but he had not done the same for her.
Shakira opened up about the “toughest period” of her life but kept specific details private, as the situation was still too raw. Before her children’s schooling, she had led an itinerant life, traveling among Colombia, the US, and Spain, even taking her firstborn son, Milan, to the US while she was a judge on “The Voice” and feeding him while on set. However, she felt the need to take a step back in her career when Milan began school in late 2014.
