Shakira attains remarkable accomplishment in the music industry after releasing a series of diss tracks against Gerard Pique

Shakira has been enjoying a marvelous comeback to her career lately by releasing a series of diss tracks on her ex-partner. The Colombian singer broke up with partner Gerard Pique after 11 years in June 2022. The reason for this was the former defender’s infidelity towards her. Since then, she has decided to dedicate her sole concentration to her music and has released numerous singles.
This strategy has paid off immensely as the singer created a record on Thursday. Shakira became the first singer to occupy both the first and the second spot in the Spotify Global Latin Music chart. The two songs are ‘Bzrp Music Sessions#53’ and ‘TQC’. In a post on Twitter, she wrote, “I never imagined that I would have 2 of the Latin songs occupying the first two places in the world this year if it weren’t for all the support from you, you are the best!”
Both of these songs were meant to be potshots toward Gerard Pique. The former FC Barcelona defender had cheated on the singer with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti. Since then, both have been constantly trading jabs with each other resulting in hit music. During the music session with Argentine producer Bizzarap, Shakira dissed her ex-boyfriend directly and without holding back.
The lyrics of the song said, “Good luck with my so-called replacement/ I don’t even know what happened/You’re acting so weird/I don’t even recognize you/ I’m worth two 22-year-olds/You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo/You traded in a Rolex for a Casio.” This was a reference to Clara Chia who was 22 at that time. It is evident that Shakira and Piqué’s relationship remains strained. Whether they will eventually mend their differences remains uncertain. However, they are still co-operating as parents of their children, Milan and Sasha.
Shakira and Jimmy Butler were spotted dining together
Shakira and Jimmy Butler were seen having dinner together in London at Novikov Restaurant & Bar on Wednesday night. They arrived at the venue separately, shortly after 10 p.m. They left the restaurant separately, just a few minutes apart around 1:30 a.m., with the NBA player’s security team accompanying the singer to her vehicle.
According to a source, while inside the popular establishment, the pair appeared to be comfortable in each other’s company, enjoying sushi and cocktails. This evening out follows previous speculation among fans regarding a potential romantic connection between Shakira and Butler earlier this year. Notably, as Shakira relocated to Miami, Florida, the two individuals began interacting on Instagram, and the Colombian superstar attended several of Butler’s basketball games.
To further add to the intrigue, Shakira added a poem to her Instagram Story in late May. This occurred during the Miami Heat’s seven-game playoff round victory against the Boston Celtics. In the poem, she wrote the words “Heroic, Extraordinary, Awesome, Team,” which cleverly spelled out “HEAT,” the team’s name. This gesture fuelled curiosity and speculation among fans. However, it remains to be seen if the pair are actually dating as the singer has been spotted partying with Lewis Hamilton too.
