According to recently surfaced information, Colombian pop star Shakira was completely oblivious about the identity of the person who Pique was cheating with even two months after their initial split. Her split has been in the news for the last 12 months as Gerard Pique was caught in an affair with his 23-year-old employee, Clara Chia Marti. Since then, she has released numerous songs blasting the former defender over his infidelity, with the latest being Copa Vacia where she featured with Manuel Turizo.

The pop star has been blasting her ex over the problems she faced in her relationship with the ex-Barcelona man. She resorted to musical violence to inflict damage on Pique’s reputation as she saw that as the only way to avenge her 11-year-long love life that went in vain.

“Everything came together, my home was falling apart. I found out from the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in the intensive care unit. I watched my dreams go away. Little by little I am rebuilding the nest,” said the singer.

Apparently, the Waka Waka singer is still hurting and she would not stop her tirade until she feels she has said everything. however, there are some who doubt the authenticity of her emotion and have claimed that she is using the ploy to add some momentum in her career.

Journalist Lorena Vasquez, during an interview with Y Ahora Sonsoles, expressed her surprise that Shakira spoke about the relationship again, as she hoped that she had moved on from Gerard Pique.

The journalist said, “I was very surprised that she brought up that great pain again, because I think that in this interview many of us were hoping that the page had already been turned. I am surprised that suddenly there is a pill to talk once again about Gerard’s infidelity.” She also revealed the exact moment Shakira found out about Clara Chia.

“I was surprised, since she talks about that infidelity, which she allegedly found out from the press, that she did not say that it was in the month of August, when she found out the identity of Clara Chía. She spent many months without knowing who the woman who was with Piqué was.” Vasquez ended by saying that Shakira did indeed get to know about the former FC Barcelona defender’s cheating through the press.

“She followed the press information very closely, because it is true that she found out from the press the details of Gerard and Clara’s relationship. From June, when they released the announcement of their separation, until August, she tried to find out who the woman Piqué was dating was,” she added. Shakira has moved from Barcelona to Miami since the breakup. On the other hand, Gerard Pique is set to get engaged to Clara Chia Marti.
