Recently, they publicly announced their split on social media, requesting that their children’s privacy be respected as they are the ones most impacted by their parent’s separation. The creative Colombian moved to capitalize on the success of her last two singles, songs about her split with Piqué. She has created a clothing line inspired by these tunes, which can now be found in her online store. Shakira has just released a line of products ranging in price from 65 to 80 dollars. The most expensive item is the official sweatshirt featuring the “Monotonía” theme.
T-shirts and sweatshirts inspired by the hit song “Te Felicito” became popular after its release, particularly when news of Shakira‘s and Gerard Piqué‘s split was confirmed. Social media users have praised Shakira for her savvy business moves in monetizing her breakup, while others have suggested it’s an excellent marketing strategy.
