Less than three months after his breakup with music singer Shakira, Gerard Pique has been seen in public with his new student girlfriend who works for him.
The famous couple announced their separation in June after an 11-year relationship and Pique has since been spotted out in public with Clara Chia Marti, his new girlfriend. At the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia, the couple was photographed cuddling.
The pictures were caught on camera by the Spanish news organisation Socialite. According to a source close to Shakira’s family, they stated “she is very angry seeing the father of her children with his girlfriend in public” because the two allegedly had a deal that forbade them from being seen together.

Presenter Laura Roige narrated: “I am excited, it is evident that there is a relationship. I have seen a lot of love, it will hurt Shakira a lot, because this is a Gerard Pique that we have never seen. I have never seen him like this with the singer.”
A 23-year-old PR student named Chia Marti works for Pique’s sports and media investment company Kosmos, and the two are said to have met while collaborating on events. Since Pique recently broke up with the Latin singer, the duo has apparently been closer and has been dating for months, but they have been attempting to keep things “secret.”
The pair’s separation in June was confirmed in a succinct statement issued by the singer’s communications team: “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
In Shakira’s most recent collaboration with Rauw Alejandro, “Te Felicito,” Shakira hinted at the tension between the two. The 45-year-old sang: “To complete you I broke into pieces; I was warned, but I didn’t listen; I realized that yours is false; it was the drop that overflowed the glass; Don’t tell me you’re sorry, that sounds sincere, but I know you well and I know you’re lying.“
