Shakira has reportedly been “making things difficult” for her former partner Gerard Pique. The Spaniard had recently returned to Spain from Abu Dhabi after a vacation with his new partner, Clara Chia. The former Barcelona man then flew from the Catalan capital to Miami to visit his children but was met with unpleasant news regarding the time he would get to spend with his sons.

Pique was set to spend ten days with his children in Miami, as part of the custodial agreement. However, since Shakira left Spain on April 2, the Colombian is considering the two days prior to her departure as the sons’ time with their father. The Ana Rosa program claims, “Piqué is only going to spend five days with the children, not 10 as usual. Since this month he spent more days with them. This is not fully organized yet,”

The ex-couple split up last November and are trying to get along for the sake of their children. The Spaniard and the Colombian’s children have reportedly put out a set of rules for their father’s visitation. Pique will also be allowed to spend vacation periods with his sons, including Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Gerard Pique might end up renting a property in Miami

Gerard Pique might rent out a house in Miami in order to spend more time with his family. Following the Spaniard’s divorce from Shakira, the Colombian has moved to Miami, while Pique has decided to stay in Barcelona, opting to move into an apartment with his new partner, Clara Chia.

Gerard would end up acquiring a property in Miami to establish residence there, at least part-time. The Spaniard seems to have been duped out of half the agreed time with his children and would hope to avoid a repeat of the incident. Hence, Pique might consider renting a place to make the commute a bit easier and have a residence for his children in Florida.

The Spaniard’s acquisition of property in the city would also likely force a loophole in the custodial agreement. Pique would be able to visit his children regularly without violating the settlement. However, this would pose a different compromise, with the Spaniard forced to spend less time with his new partner.
