Barcelona star, Gerard Pique hasn’t enjoyed the best public image recently, especially because of the part he played in the break-up of one of football’s most popular couples. The Spaniard ended things with Columbian singer, Shakira after she caught him cheating.
Since the break-up, both Pique and Shakira haven’t been seen together. However, while Pique reportedly enjoyed his single life, Shakira has been quite miserable with stalkers and Gerard Pique himself, trying to approach her multiple times. The 45-year-old just wants to leave Barcelona and move to Miami with their children as soon as possible.
Journalists report that Gerard Pique cannot live without partying in Barcelona
As reported by one of the Journalists who recorded Shakira’s statements, the singer said, “I know that Piqué can’t stand it. He Promises that he will change and leave his business life, but it is very difficult for him to leave the night in Barcelona. He loves it. He promises that he will change but he will continue to fall.”
Martin, a close friend of Gerard Pique also said, “It hasn’t set. Gerard assures that he is a single man, yes, that many friends, and that he is enjoying his singleness, but what I can assure you is that he wants to have a very good relationship with the mother of his children. As a result of the distancing with the waitress, the relationship would be more fluid.”
As for Shakira, she is just awaiting the ‘Green Light’ to move to Miami and away from Gerard Pique. The singer doesn’t want anything to do with the player and will be taking their children also with her.
Reports suggest that the duo will meet next week to finally decide the future of the family. While Shakira is adamant on moving to Miami with their children, they will have to decide the visitation policy for Gerard Pique.
