Early in June, Gerard Piqué and Shakira declared their love was over. The stories about the footballer’s adultery, which had been making the rounds on several foreign websites for months, have now gotten stronger. The recent material appears to be less concerned with the past and more concerned with the former couple’s future.
This week, the online cycle rumors not likely by Elisa Beristain and Javier Ceriani disclosed that the Colombian singer seeks to come to an agreement to maintain custody of the children, Milan and Sasha. This comes after it became known that both have hired reputed lawyers to resolve the division of assets and the custody of their children.
The 45-year-old singer intends to move from her current residence in Spain to Miami, Florida, in the United States. But if her kids aren’t coming, she won’t make this move. It was revealed on the show that she is prepared to spend $2 million to get his ex-partner to agree to stop fighting for custody. With this money, which would also go toward paying off a debt, the father of the children’s plane tickets to see them in North America would also be paid.
Pique and Shakira to get back together?
The key point here is that, if they cannot agree on custody, Shakira would be prepared to offer actual proof of Piqué’s infidelity in a potential trial.
Shakira and Piqué have been together since 2010, and while they have two kids together, they are not wed.
Pique took extreme action in this situation. According to the Spanish journalist Jordi Martn, the Barcelona footballer “has split up with the waitress with whom he has been associated throughout these two months,” in a Telecinco event. He continued, describing the incident, “He informed a person close to him, quite sure, that he is a single man, that he follows many friends, and that, obviously, he is enjoying his singleness. However, I can promise you that he wants to get along well with the mother of his kids.”
The 35-year-old wants to patch things up with Shakira, even if she isn’t interested in seeing their relationship blossom again. Above all, both would want to retain a friendly connection so that the split would have as little of an impact as possible on her two children.
